The Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion “Ijtimoiy Fikr” has launched a large-scale sociological study among the citizens of our country on the topic “Perception of the State of the Environment in Uzbekistan by Citizens,” aimed at examining the ecological situation and the population’s attitude toward environmental issues.
The questionnaire covers the level of citizens’ environmental awareness, their attitude toward the environment, changes observed in recent years, the most serious environmental problems, and proposals for their solution.
In addition, the study focuses on examining public opinion regarding the principles of the “green economy” and the readiness for the rational use of water and energy resources.
This research is aimed at assessing the reforms carried out within the framework of the State Program for 2025, under which the year 2025 has been declared the “Year of Environmental Protection and the Green Economy.” The program identifies priority areas such as environmental sustainability, the use of clean energy sources, the development of green infrastructure, and waste recycling systems.
In this context, the study conducted by the “Ijtimoiy Fikr” Center serves to assess how government reforms are perceived by society and to examine their social effectiveness.
The results obtained will provide a reliable basis for improving the state’s environmental policy, raising the environmental culture of the population, and ensuring the more effective implementation of “green” reforms aimed at a sustainable future.
