In accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 12, 2022, No. PP-81, and the Resolution dated May 11, 2022, No. PP-240, a task has been set in our country to organize training workshops and seminars aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of responsible employees of internal control units of various organizations and agencies engaged in combating corruption.

To implement these tasks, on August 20 of this year, a training seminar was organized for responsible employees working in this field on the topic: “Prevention of Corruption in State Bodies and Organizations, Enhancing the Effectiveness of the Compliance Control System.”

Within the framework of the training seminar, representatives of various organizations and agencies of our republic exchanged views on the issues arising in this area, discussed the current state of affairs and the results achieved. In addition, a number of representatives from foreign countries shared with the seminar participants their experience in preventing corruption in public service, managing conflicts of interest, as well as assessing the resilience of civil servants to corruption risks.

The seminar was also attended by the Deputy Director for Scientific Research of the Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion “Ijtimoiy Fikr”, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Sociology, Mansur Sherikbaevich Seitov. In his report on the topic “The Role of Sociological Surveys in Preventing Corruption, Issues of Organizing and Conducting Surveys”, M. Seitov aroused great interest and lively discussions among the seminar participants. The attendees expressed their desire to cooperate in the future with the “Ijtimoiy Fikr” Center in this area. In turn, Mansur Seitov emphasized that the “Ijtimoiy Fikr” Center is always ready to provide assistance in matters of organizing and conducting sociological surveys.
