The Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion "Ijtimoiy Fikr" sincerely congratulates everyone on one of the most significant events in the sporting life of our country — the historic achievements of our national team at the World Boxing Championship, which took place on September 4–14, 2025, in Liverpool (England).

This prestigious tournament brought together 540 skilled boxers from 68 countries of the world. In intense bouts, Uzbek athletes demonstrated the highest level of skill and willpower, winning a total of 11 medals: 6 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze. With these results, the Uzbekistan team ranked second in the overall team standings.

Among the champions were the gold medalists Abdumalik Khalokov (60 kg), Asadkhoja Muydinkhojayev (65 kg), Fazliddin Erkinboyev (75 kg), Javohir Ummataliyev (80 kg), Akmaljon Isroilov (85 kg), and Turabek Khabibullayev (92 kg). The women’s national team also delivered remarkable results: Navbakhor Khamidova and Jahongir Zakirov claimed silver medals, while Sabina and Feruza Bobokulova, as well as Aziza Zakirova, earned bronze medals.

These achievements have not only further strengthened the international reputation of Uzbek sports but have also inspired a sense of pride and joy in public consciousness. Public opinion research shows that such victories encourage young people to take up sports, promote a healthy lifestyle, and foster devotion to the Motherland.

The Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion "Ijtimoiy Fikr" wholeheartedly congratulates all members of the national team, their coaches and the coaching staff, as well as all sports fans on these joyous victories. We wish that the flag of our Motherland flies ever higher and that our athletes continue to achieve new and greater triumphs!
