The Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion “Ijtimoiy Fikr” has launched a sociological survey on the topic: “Citizens on Interethnic Relations.”
The purpose of this survey is to study the state of interethnic relations, the level of tolerance in society, the culture of communication, the freedom of self-expression of citizens in an ethnic environment, and the level of trust in state policy in this area.
As part of the survey, citizens are invited to express their opinion on how they assess interethnic relations in the country, what changes have occurred in these relations over the past year, and how freely they feel in society in terms of their national, cultural, and linguistic identity. The influence of the information environment is also being studied. In particular, respondents will be asked whether they have encountered information on the Internet and social networks that incites hatred between peoples. These data will help to form an understanding of the level of information security and social stability in the country.
In addition, respondents will be asked how effective they consider state policies aimed at ensuring interethnic harmony, as well as how they perceive successes and challenges in this area.
This study will create a solid scientific and practical basis for further strengthening tolerance, national unity, and civic solidarity in society, and will also make it possible to develop new approaches in state policy based on the real public mood.
