The declaration of June 30 as Youth Day in Uzbekistan confirms that young people are at the heart of the country’s ongoing reforms. This date is not only a celebration but also an institutional symbol of the state's attention to the potential, responsibility, and opportunities of the younger generation.

Today, amid global changes, digital transformation, and intellectual competition, youth has become a decisive factor in the country’s development. Youth is a period of activity, fresh thinking, initiative, and the formation of a sense of belonging to society. From a sociological perspective, this is the stage when a person’s civic position and social identity are most strongly formed.

Recent sociological studies conducted by the Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion “Ijtimoiy Fikr” show important shifts in youth consciousness. According to survey results, the majority of respondents associate their future with Uzbekistan, and there is a growing level of trust in the state’s youth policy. A significant portion of young people consider active participation in public life as their civic duty.

These findings indicate that young people are not only effectively utilizing the opportunities created by the state but are also reaching a level of self-awareness as important and influential actors in society.

Practical examples clearly demonstrate the achievements of the younger generation in recent years. In particular, young Uzbeks have been awarded gold and silver medals in international science Olympiads. In high-tech fields, Uzbek youth — programmers, engineers, and startup founders — are gaining recognition in global competitions and markets. In education, thousands of students studying in developed countries such as Europe, the USA, Japan, and South Korea are building the scientific and intellectual future of our nation. Our young athletes are achieving high results at Asian and world championships, proudly representing the country. With the support of the Youth Affairs Agency and other organizations, hundreds of startups and social projects have been successfully implemented.

All of this is clear evidence of the potential of today’s youth, the growth of its role in society, and its cooperation with state policy.

Dear youth!
You are the main driving force of progress, renewal, and aspiration for the future in our country. Work tirelessly on self-development; be educated, patriotic, proactive, and responsible individuals. The Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion “Ijtimoiy Fikr” wholeheartedly congratulates you on Youth Day — June 30.
