INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY – MARCH 8

International Women’s Day, celebrated on March 8 and arriving with the breath of spring, is not only a holiday expressing respect and appreciation for women, but also an important date reflecting the role and authority of women in the development of society.

On behalf of the staff of the Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion "Ijtimoiy Fikr", we sincerely congratulate all women of our country who selflessly work in science and enlightenment, education, healthcare, public administration, entrepreneurship, and many other spheres of social life on the occasion of International Women’s Day – March 8.

A woman is the spiritual support of society, the foundation of family stability, and a key factor in the upbringing of future generations. Historical and contemporary social research shows that the active participation of women in education, labor, and public life serves as an important factor in ensuring social stability, increasing the potential of human capital, and achieving sustainable development.

Today, large-scale reforms are being implemented in our country aimed at comprehensive support for women, protection of their rights and interests, and increasing their socio-political and economic activity. Opportunities for women to receive education, acquire professions, develop entrepreneurship, and participate in public administration are expanding, which further strengthens the role of women in society.

Sociological analysis and the results of public opinion studies show that in societies where women’s social activity increases, family stability, social solidarity, and the moral climate of society are strengthened. Therefore, supporting the knowledge, experience, and initiatives of women is one of the key priorities for societal development.
