IJTIMOIY FIKR AND VCIOM DISCUSS PROSPECTS FOR PROFESSIONAL COOPERATION (RUSSIA)

As part of the development of international professional cooperation, representatives of the Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion “Ijtimoiy Fikr” held a meeting with representatives of the Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM) in Russia.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for strengthening and expanding cooperation between the two organizations working in the field of public opinion and sociological research. Particular attention was paid to the exchange of professional expertise, the development of research contacts, and determination of directions for further cooperation.

Another key topic of discussion was the planning of joint activities aimed at exchanging methodological approaches, presenting research findings, and developing professional dialogue between sociologists from the two countries.

An important part of the agenda was the development of the youth-focused activities of the Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion. The parties discussed opportunities to engage young researchers and sociology students in professional events, educational initiatives, research projects, and exchange programs.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue their cooperation and develop formats of joint work aimed at strengthening the professional community, supporting young sociologists, and enhancing cooperation between the Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion “Ijtimoiy Fikr” and the Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM).
