“IJTIMOIY FIKR” LAUNCHES SURVEY ON PUBLIC PERCEPTIONS OF INFRASTRUCTURE AND URBANISATION
The Republican centre of the study of the public opinion “Ijtimoiy fikr” has launched a survey entitled “Infrastructure and Urbanisation: Citizens’ Assessments and Perceptions”.
The aim of the study is to examine public attitudes towards the living environment, the condition of local infrastructure, the quality of utility services and urbanisation processes. It also seeks to identify social needs and the public’s key expectations regarding the development of urban and rural areas.
The study will examine citizens’ assessments of the level of maintenance and improvement of public spaces, the condition of roads and pedestrian paths, children’s playgrounds and sports grounds, as well as the reliability and quality of electricity, natural gas and drinking water supplies and other utility services. It will also analyse changes in infrastructure over the past three years and key challenges affecting people's daily quality of life.
Particular attention will be paid to the social aspects of urbanisation. The survey will explore citizens’ preferences for living in urban or rural areas, the economic, social and environmental factors influencing these preferences, and public views on local development priorities.
The survey findings are expected to provide a valuable evidence base for identifying the population’s actual needs, analysing infrastructure problems based on public assessments, and developing research-based, practical recommendations to promote balanced development in urban and rural areas and improve quality of life.
The Republican centre of the study of the public opinion “Ijtimoiy fikr” invites citizens to take an active part in the sociological survey and share their assessments of living conditions in their local areas.
