The Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion “Ijtimoiy Fikr” is consistently continuing its systematic work aimed at improving the quality of sociological research in the country. As part of these efforts, the Center regularly organizes training programs to prepare qualified personnel for interviewer activities.

On March 17–18 of this year, the Center hosted another round of practical training sessions for interviewer candidates. The sessions were conducted by specialists from the Department for the Organization and Implementation of Applied Research, who provided comprehensive and systematic guidance on the scientific and methodological foundations of organizing the survey process.

During the training, the content and purpose of each questionnaire were examined in detail. Particular attention was given to such key issues as the correct interpretation of questions, maintaining accuracy and neutrality in communication with respondents, and ensuring objective and reliable data collection. Through a practice-oriented approach based on real interview scenarios, participants were able to consolidate their practical skills.

These training sessions were important not only for deepening theoretical knowledge, but also for fostering the professional identity of interviewers, strengthening their sense of responsibility, and ensuring strict adherence to ethical standards. This is especially significant given that, in the study of public opinion, the professional approach of each interviewer directly affects the reliability of research results.

Through such training programs, interviewer candidates will be able to conduct sociological surveys at a high professional level, objectively and accurately reflect public opinion, and make a meaningful contribution to evidence-based decision-making grounded in public opinion.
