Workshop

On May 1 of the current year, a practical workshop was organized at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the National University of Uzbekistan with the participation of the Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion “Ijtimoiy Fikr” for graduates of the educational programs “Sociology,” “Social Work,” and “Applied Psychology.” The event was aimed at strengthening the professional training of future specialists, integrating their theoretical knowledge with practical activities, and familiarizing them with the modern requirements of the labor market.

During the event, specialists from the Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion “Ijtimoiy Fikr” held an open dialogue with students, providing detailed recommendations on the methodology of sociological research, the study of public opinion, mechanisms of social analysis, applied research, and prospects for professional activity. Representatives of the Center also gave graduates important advice on employment, professional development, and active participation in scientific and practical projects.

In addition, specialists from the Tashkent City Department of the National Agency for Social Protection took part in the meeting. They presented information on the social protection system, current areas of service provision to the population, and existing opportunities for young specialists.

This workshop became an important platform for gaining professional experience, practical knowledge, and effective communication for future sociologists, psychologists, and social workers. It also served as an important stage in enhancing their professional potential. The active participation of the Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion “Ijtimoiy Fikr” in such initiatives contributes to the development of the country’s scientific and practical potential, the training of qualified personnel, and the further improvement of the field of public opinion research.
