Career Day

On April 30 of the current year, the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan hosted a job fair entitled “Career Day” and a workshop aimed at ensuring the employment of graduates of higher educational institutions, integrating their professional potential with practical activities, and supporting their successful adaptation to the labor market in accordance with the tasks defined by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Employees of the Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion “Ijtimoiy Fikr” actively participated in this important event and held an effective dialogue with young specialists

The main purpose of the event was to strengthen the theoretical knowledge of students and graduates through practical activities, familiarize them with available job vacancies, modern professional fields, and prospects for professional development 

Specialists of the Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion “Ijtimoiy Fikr” provided participants with detailed information about sociological research, public opinion studies, social analysis, media research, and modern areas of analytical activity.

The Center’s employees gave future journalists, sociologists, psychologists, and graduates in the field of communications important recommendations on how to effectively start their professional careers, develop scientific and practical research, enhance sectoral competencies, and actively participate in the development of the state and society. During the meeting, students had the opportunity to become more closely acquainted with the activities of the “Ijtimoiy Fikr” Center, nationwide sociological studies, public monitoring, and analytical projects.

Participation in this “Career Day” became a practical expression of the consistent activities of the Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion “Ijtimoiy Fikr” aimed at supporting young personnel, strengthening their professional training, enriching their scientific and practical experience, and preparing competitive specialists in the country.

Such initiatives are of great importance for strengthening the integration of higher education, science, and practice, ensuring youth employment, and expanding the ranks of modern, proactive, and qualified specialists in the context of New Uzbekistan. The participation of the Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion “Ijtimoiy Fikr” in this event contributes to the further development of the system of public opinion research, social analysis, and professional personnel training in the country.
