Kurban Hayit — a Blessed Holiday Celebrating Human Dignity, Compassion, and National Values
The team of the Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion “Ijtimoiy Fikr” sincerely congratulates the people of our country, our dear compatriots, and all Muslim believers on the great and blessed holiday of Kurban Hayit.
Kurban Hayit is a sacred holiday that embodies the national and religious values of our people, refined over centuries, as well as such noble qualities as compassion, humanism, tolerance, and generosity. This holiday strengthens in people’s hearts the noble feelings of gratitude, kindness, and the desire to do good for one another.
The spiritual significance of these blessed days lies in the fact that Kurban Hayit serves to elevate human dignity in society, strengthen an atmosphere of mutual respect and harmony among the population, and increase attention to the older generation and people in need. The ancient traditions of the Uzbek people — good neighborliness, strengthening family ties, visiting the sick, and helping those in need — are especially vividly manifested during this blessed holiday.
The results of social studies conducted in the field of public opinion research also show that the role of national and religious holidays in citizens’ lives is becoming increasingly significant. A large share of citizens regard Kurban Hayit as a sacred value associated with family unity, spiritual closeness, tolerance, and good deeds.
The reforms carried out in recent years in our country to ensure respect for religious values and create favorable conditions for the population to duly perform religious rituals and celebrate religious holidays are of particular importance, as they are aimed at ensuring human interests and dignity. The days off established in connection with Kurban Hayit also create an important opportunity for our compatriots to spend time with their families, visit relatives and loved ones, make visits, and increase the number of good deeds.
Today, the development of society is closely connected not only with economic factors, but also with people’s spiritual unity, mutual trust, and social cohesion. In this sense, Kurban Hayit holds special significance as a great holiday that contributes to strengthening peace and stability in our country and to the broad affirmation of the principles of compassion and humanism.
May this bright and blessed holiday bring joy, peace, compassion, and prosperity to every home. May peace, tranquility, interethnic harmony, and an atmosphere of kindness always prevail in our country.
Happy Kurban Hayit, dear compatriots!
Respectfully,
the team of the Republican Center
