On the occasion of Press and Media Workers’ Day, we sincerely congratulate all journalists, editors, press secretaries, television and radio professionals, photojournalists, camera operators, publishing and news agency specialists, bloggers, and all dedicated representatives of the media community working in our country.

Your professionalism, objectivity, dedication, and high sense of responsibility play an important role in strengthening an atmosphere of openness and transparency in the country, providing society with reliable information, enhancing citizens’ media literacy, and widely informing the public about the development processes taking place in New Uzbekistan.

The adoption, on the eve of the holiday, of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Awarding a Group of Professionals on the Occasion of Press and Media Workers’ Day” was particularly symbolic and served as a vivid example of the high level of state attention to and recognition of the dedicated work of media professionals. Under the Decree, a group of representatives of the sector who have made a significant contribution to the development of the country’s information space, the provision of objective and timely information to society, and the advancement of national journalism were honored with high state awards.

We wholeheartedly congratulate the award recipients on this prestigious recognition. These awards are not only a well-deserved acknowledgment of their many years of dedicated and productive work, but also a symbol of the high level of trust placed in the media community and the great responsibility it bears.
