Since March 2025, fourth-year sociology students from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the National University of Uzbekistan have been undergoing a three-month internship at the Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion "Ijtimoiy Fikr". This internship is organized with the aim of strengthening the system of "education — practice — employment".

During this practical training, students are provided with ample opportunities to reinforce their theoretical knowledge and develop practical skills in the field of public opinion research, collecting and analyzing information on social moods, opinions, needs, and societal issues. It also serves to involve young specialists in scientific and practical research and enhance their professional potential.

In addition, students actively participate in both group and independent research projects under the guidance of the Center’s specialists. They are involved in designing and conducting sociological surveys, analyzing social trends in society, collecting, coding, and interpreting data, as well as preparing analytical reports.

Such internships are crucial for reinforcing students' theoretical knowledge through practical application, mastering real methods of analyzing social processes, and linking academic research with the country's political system. As a result, effective connections are formed between sociological science and practical activity.
