Public Perception of Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations and the Level of Interaction with Them

The Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion “Ijtimoiy Fikr” has launched a new large-scale sociological study among the population of the country entitled “Public Perception of Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations and the Level of Interaction with Them.”

The study aims to provide a scientific assessment of the role of civil society institutions in public life, determine the level of public awareness about non-governmental non-profit organizations (NGOs), examine public attitudes toward them, and measure the level of trust in these organizations.

The objective of the research is to comprehensively examine public knowledge and perceptions of NGOs, analyze public evaluations of their contribution to addressing social issues, assess citizens’ willingness to cooperate with them, and, based on the findings, develop practical recommendations for the further development of civil society.

The study also plans to explore the sources through which citizens receive information about NGO activities, evaluate the effectiveness of these organizations in the most socially significant areas, and analyze public opinions regarding social and organizational factors that hinder their development.

The sociological survey is being conducted across all regions of Uzbekistan, involving representatives of different age groups and social strata of the population.
