Another training session on “Types of Questions in Sociological Research and Their Essence” was held for specialists of the CATI Research Department of the Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion “Ijtimoiy Fikr.”

The main objective of the training was to strengthen specialists’ knowledge of the types and formats of questions used in sociological research, improve the methodological quality of interviews, and develop skills for presenting questions to respondents in a clear, neutral, and understandable manner. In addition, problems arising during interviews and effective ways of addressing them were discussed.

During the session, the main errors encountered in the work of specialists were analyzed, and the reasons for their occurrence were discussed. Relevant explanations and practical recommendations were provided to eliminate the identified shortcomings and prevent their recurrence in the future.

Particular attention was paid to reducing the number of errors during interviews, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the data collected, and strictly complying with established research standards and methodological requirements.

At the end of the training, performance rankings based on the specialists’ work results were presented. Individual explanatory sessions were conducted with interviewers who demonstrated comparatively lower performance indicators, and targeted recommendations were provided to help them develop their professional skills and improve the quality of their work.

The training session will contribute to improving the methodological quality of CATI interviews, ensuring that questions are communicated to respondents accurately and appropriately, and enhancing the reliability of data obtained within the framework of sociological research.
