Dear colleagues! Ladies and gentlemen!

We are pleased to announce that the third annual sociological lectures named after Academician Rano Ubaydullaeva will be held in November 2024. This event will take place within the framework of the ongoing international scientific and practical seminar titled "Actual Problems of Studying and Forming Public Opinion in Uzbekistan: Methods, Theory, and Practice," with the direct participation of The Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion "Ijtimoiy Fikr". The theme of this year’s seminar is: "Youth of New Uzbekistan: Directions of Values and Prospects for Self-Realization."

Working with young people in Uzbekistan, creating conditions to fully reveal their potential has been raised to the level of national priorities, based on the principle of "working with young people and for their interests" adopted in 2021 and defined in the UN "Youth-2030" Strategy, a youth-oriented state in Uzbekistan by 2025 the concept of policy development also shows this.

By declaring 2024 as the Year of Youth and Entrepreneurship Support, the country's leadership is demonstrating its desire to further strengthen the role of youth in the socio-economic development of the republic.

From this point of view, the theme of the seminar seems very relevant and important to the organizers, because it fully reflects the aspirations of the state and the society of Uzbekistan at the current stage of the country's development.

The seminar will address the development strategy of Uzbek society in the context of the new reality, analyzing the socio-cultural, economic, and psychological aspects of the youth environment and its role and influence in society
