The Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion "Ijtimoiy Fikr" has launched a sociological survey among the citizens of our country on the topic "Citizen's Opinions on Defender of the Fatherland Day."

Every year on January 14, our country widely celebrates Defender of the Fatherland Day. This day holds great significance not only as a state symbol but also as a symbol of courage, patriotism, and selflessness in ensuring peace and security. In this regard, the aim of this study is to identify citizens' attitudes towards the holiday, their sense of loyalty to the Motherland, as well as their opinions and perspectives on the national army and Armed Forces.

The survey questions address aspects such as the importance of Defender of the Fatherland Day for citizens, their perception of the concept of "Motherland," and the personal associations evoked by this word, including the emotions and ideas it inspires. It explores whether these associations are connected with family, the mahalla (local community), or, more broadly, with the entire country. The study will also examine the significance of the army and attitudes towards the Armed Forces, citizens' approach to military service, the prestige of the military profession, its role in society, and the assessment of the army's importance for the country's development.

This survey will collect valuable data that will serve as a basis for practical measures aimed at forming and strengthening the spirit of patriotism in society. Public opinion is crucial for enhancing the prestige of our Armed Forces, attracting young people to military service, and fostering their sense of loyalty to the Motherland.
