In the modern era of digital development, cases of internet fraud pose a serious threat to society’s security and economic stability. Scientific research shows that cyber fraud can occur both locally and internationally, making the implementation of effective countermeasures an urgent task.

The Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion "Ijtimoiy Fikr" has launched a sociological study aimed at conducting a scientific analysis of internet fraud mechanisms, exploring new fraud tactics and assessing the level of public awareness regarding these threats.

The goal of this study is to examine citizens' perceptions of internet fraud, their personal experiences encountering online scammers, and their reactions when becoming victims of fraud. Additionally, the research aims to collect and analyze data on precautionary measures taken by citizens to protect themselves from internet fraud.
