Happy Birthday, dear Rano Akhatovna! In memory of our teacher!

Today would have been the 88th birthday of an outstanding Teacher who left a bright and honorable mark on the development of science in Uzbekistan—a remarkable scholar known not only in her own country but also beyond its borders. An Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Economics, Professor, and recipient of the "El-yurt hurmati" order—Rano Akhatovna Ubaydullaeva.

Today, we all bow our heads in deep remembrance of our Teacher. The most vivid memories of her come to mind. In truth, our Teacher is always with us, not only on birthdays but every day. To each of us who had the great honor of being her student, she is dear and close, and we feel her blessing in every endeavor, in every step we take.

For 22 years, Rano Akhatovna headed the  Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion "Ijtimoiy Fikr". Today, in the Center, there isn’t a single event, task, or activity that we don’t strive to view through the Teacher’s eyes or approach with her high standards. The great work started by Rano Akhatovna, along with the traditions she established, continues with dignity through her students.

Our Teacher, Rano Akhatovna, was a dedicated and hardworking scientist, a demanding and fair leader, a visionary, a woman of refined beauty and wisdom, a caring mother, a faithful wife, and a role model for all of us. For her tireless work, she earned the endless respect, love, and recognition of her people, and we are proud to have had the honor of working under her guidance. We bow our heads to her bright memory…
