A meeting took place at the Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion "Ijtimoiy Fikr" with an international observer Professor Z.K. Shaukenova regarding the upcoming parliamentary elections.

On October 25, 2024, at the Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion "Ijtimoiy Fikr", a meeting took place with an international observer from Kazakhstan for the upcoming parliamentary elections, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Sociological Sciences and Professor Z.K. Shaukenova. During the meeting, the Center's Director, N.Kh.Rakhimova, together with colleagues, introduced the observer to the Center’s activities, including sociological research, public opinion surveys, the Center’s scientific work, innovative survey technologies, as well as the prospects and trends for developing new directions in sociological research in the republic.

The participants also discussed the longstanding experience of sociological support for election campaigns in anticipation of the elections of deputies to the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan and deputies of regional, city, and district councils. Key aspects of conducting comprehensive sociological research were reviewed, aimed at studying citizens' engagement in the country’s political life, assessing public awareness of the upcoming elections, and forecasting expected electoral participation.
