The Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion "Ijtimoiy Fikr" has begun conducting a survey on the topic "Ensuring Gender Equality and Protecting Women's Rights in Uzbekistan."

The purpose of this survey is to examine citizens' views on the concept of gender equality and to assess the level of women's awareness of their rights in the country. The survey aims to identify how often citizens encounter situations of gender inequality in their daily lives, which sectors in the country exhibit gender inequality, and, according to citizens, what the main causes of such inequality are. Additionally, it explores how the situation regarding gender equality has evolved over the past five years and the current state of this issue.

The survey also covers issues related to domestic violence against women, such as the severity of the problem, the most common types of violence, who is to blame when a man uses violence against a woman, and how ready society is to openly discuss this issue. Furthermore, it examines citizens' willingness to assist in preventing violence and the negative consequences that domestic violence can have on society.
