The First Deputy Director of the Republican Center for the Study of Public Opinion "Ijtimoiy Fikr," Marat Karimovich Khadjimukhamedov, participated as a speaker at the international scientific-practical conference titled "SCIENCE AND SOCIETY IN THE CONTEXT OF NEW CHALLENGES," organized by the Institute of Sociology at the Academy of Sciences of Belarus in the city of Minsk, Republic of Belarus.

This international scientific-practical conference was held at the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The event was opened by the Director of the Institute of Social Sciences of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Candidate of Sociological Sciences, Associate Professor — Nikolai Leontyevich Mislivets, Chairman of the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, and Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus — Vladimir Grigorievich Gusakov, and the Academic Secretary of the Department of Humanities and Arts of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor — Alexander Alexandrovich Kovalenya.

Among the scientists who also participated in the event was the Head of the Department of Sociology at Belarusian State University, Doctor of Sociological Sciences, Professor, and Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of Belarus — Alexander Nikolaevich Danilov, who presented a report titled "The Emergence of the Sociology of Science as a Requirement of the Times." The Chief Researcher at the S.I. Vavilov Institute for the History of Science and Technology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Juridical Sciences, and Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences — Yuri Mikhailovich Baturin, delivered a report on "The Management of Science."

The Deputy Director of the M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University branch in Kazakhstan, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, and Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan — Raushan Zhabaikhanovna Abdildina, presented a report on "Evaluation of the Results of Scientific Activity in the Field of Social and Humanitarian Sciences." The Director of the Institute for the History of Science of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor — Mariam Gasanovna Seidbeili, delivered a report on "The Features of the Formation of Science Studies in Azerbaijan."

Marat Karimovich Khadjimukhamedov, First Deputy Director of the Republican Public Opinion Research Center "Ijtimoiy Fikr," presented a report on "Applied Sociological Research in Uzbekistan: Key Themes and Scientific Problems Using the Example of the Activities of the Republican Public Opinion Research Center 'Ijtimoiy Fikr,'" sharing his reflections.

In the concluding part of the conference, scientific discussions deepened, summarizing each report and roundtable discussion. Participants exchanged views on the presented scientific works, as well as discussed future research directions, new methodologies, and opportunities for scientific cooperation. At the final session, the importance of the conference and the relevance of the issues raised in the research field were emphasized. Scientists spoke about their scientific achievements and future plans. Additionally, the possibility of signing a memorandum or agreements on cooperation for the implementation of future scientific projects was discussed at the end of the event.
